Congratulations to DSES student Emma Miller who won the Douglas County School System's Young Georgia Authors Award for 2nd graders with her story "My Cool and Awesome Imaginary Friends." She was one of the exceptional students who demonstrated creativity, imagination and skill in crafting her compelling story. Emma was recently recognized at a school board meeting where she received a certificate. We are so proud of you, Emma! Well done!
