Students are encouraged to read all summer and log their minutes in Beanstack if they were enrolled in the 2025-26 school year. Students are also able to access ebooks in Follett Destiny Discover and Sora during the summer using their Classlink login on a device at home. The DCSS has a summer reading goal of 3,000,000 minutes! Students are encouraged to log their minutes in Beanstack this summer.

Students are also encouraged to visit the Dog River Public Library to participate in their summer programming. Their theme this summer is Unearth a Story (dinosaurs).
